1838 N1 1838 N-1 LDS

EAC grade XF45. The coin has great color and surfaces...even nicer in hand. It is a very late state with rim cuds from K3 thru K8. The dies are rusted and heavily worn. Ex Great Southern Coins 7/1/09.

1838 N-4 very late die state d with heavy obverse crack and cud below the date. ex Eric Fix 10/2/09.

EAC grade VF35. I bought this coin at EAC 2012 in Buffalo as lot 384 in the auction. 5/5/12

1838 N-7 with a dent in the hair and slight porous surfaces. I called it a 20/10. ex Eric Fix 10/4/09.

1838 N-9 grading XF40. It has a obverse cud at star 11.5 continuing to the bottom of date. The termination of the cud is not clear. ex CVM via EAC 2010 Convention bourse.

1838 N-9 grading VF25 net 20. It has a strong obverse cud at star 11.5 continuing to the bottom of date.

1838 N-10 with AU sharpness. It has recolored but has toned nicely. Actually a very nice looking cent in hand. ex Roger Lyles 8/9/07.


1838 N11/13 1838 N-11 Old N-13

1838 N-11 which is the old N-13. Ex Rod Burress 6/28/06; ex Jules Reiver Lot 20114; ex Dennis Loring. EAC 30/25 for nicks. I broke this from a NGC AU-50BN. It has the obverse cud at *1-*2.
